19th September 2014, the date Tudor launched its new, highly anticipated collection to 90 stockists across the UK. Bombarding us from all angles, the Tudor campaign is splashed across our TV screens, covering our newspapers and magazines and plastered across the internet, making it almost unavoidable for the public not to see their fiercely stylish revival. And we are definitely not disappointed.

What we are shown is something on a magnificent scale, a collection rich in history, colour and charisma as each watch links beautifully to the lineage of old classics, showing the UK what we’ve all been missing during their 10 year absence!
Originally conceived by Rolex founder Hans Wilsdorf in 1926, Tudor was essentially taking the idea of Rolex and adding a lightness to their designs, making it a more affordable brand. The designs defied the norm making them hugely popular. However, during the ‘dark days,’ the 90’s, Tudors designs declined dramatically and so were removed from the US and UK markets. Leaving only the old Tudor classics to be cherished, but now 10 years later they are back to claim back their robust reputation! Tudor has been described in QP magazine as having, ‘blossomed from Rolex’s neglected younger sibling to a brand defined by sharp design and a sense of history,’ and we couldn’t agree more!

Tudor Fastrider Chrono 42010N
Alongside the Pelagos, Tudor unveiled a new energetic breed of Fastrider Chrono’s at Baselworld 2015. Available in three colours, the Tudor Fastrider Chrono models are designed to reflect the various Ducati Scrambler hues: bright yellow, olive green and crimson red. Tudor North Flag 91210N
Tudor’s final release at Baselworld 2015 takes the form of a completely brand new timepiece design, the Tudor North Flag. The North Flag is Tudor’s debut model showcases their new MT5612, Tudor’s first “Manufacture” mechanical movement. Designed to withstand the most extreme conditions whilst being a reliable and technical timepiece. The perfect watch for the adventurer. Another favourite of ours is the Tudor Heritage Black Bay available with a striking red bezel or the softer blue bezel. We particularly love the vintage looking dial and weathered leather strap. The Tudor Heritage Chrono Black is essentially a black/grey version of a Tudor Chrono Blue whilst keeping the attractive bright orange accents on the NATO strap and chronograph second hand. Those looking for a bold, distinctive and adrenaline fuelled watch look no further than the Tudor Fastrider Black Shield. The PVD matt black case and blood red indices cannot be ignored. The Tudor Fastrider Black Shield is available with a black rubber strap, tan leather strap with black stitching or a black leather strap with red stitching.
