We specialise in D,E and F colour diamonds which are all considered colourless and very precious due to their rarity. D is referred to as a white or clear diamond and looks mesmerizing when in an engagement ring as it appears bright and extremely sparkly, they are also highly desirable and valuable. As the vast majority of our diamonds are certificated we can also focus on the cut grade, most of Robert Gatwards diamonds are ‘excellent cuts’ also known as ‘ideal cuts.’ This means that the diamonds are perfectly proportionate and symmetrical ensuring that the maximum amount of light is refracted from the diamond making it incredibly beautiful and blindingly dazzling with the sharpest sparkle. Larger companies (we won’t name any names!) use lower colour diamonds, G,H and I, they are often non certificated, meaning that they appear murky and dull in comparison to colourless D,E and F diamonds and being mass produced they lose that special touch.
