The brand new Dietrich Watches UK arrived with us at Robert Gatward a couple of weeks ago and there’s no doubt they have already caused a stir with staff and clients alike! For most of us at Robert Gatward the Dietrich watches are nothing like we have ever seen before so naturally we had one shipped over to Robert Gatward HQ for us to do a little personal review of one in our studio. In particular we chose the red variant, the Dietrich OT-2, the second model in the range of only three models worldwide making Dietrich 1969 a fantastically niche company. So niche that Dietrich Watches UK have an extremely limited distribution of only six retailers in the UK!
We think you’ll agree with us that it is a stunningly crafted stealthy masterpiece with the quality of a watch twice its price. The sheer heavyweight of the black PVD blasted case hits you instantly when it enters your grasp and the tactile matt finish Dietrich has implemented screams luxury, finesse and masculinity.

The intricate gold star second hand gracefully advances with the help of the Japanese Miyota movement lurking in the depths below.

Stamped on the crown is ’69’ referring to Dietrich 1969, the birth year of Emmanuel Dietrich, the imaginative French designer behind Dietrich Watches UK.
