Trollbeads Tuesday Ice Bucket Challenge
The theme for this weeks Trollbeads Tuesday is inspired by the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge! Over this Summer we have seen thousands of videos of you drenching yourselves with icy water for this brilliant charity! This social media phenomenon has raised a staggering £48 million in donations which will help provide care services to assist people with ALS along with their families and will also go towards the discovery of new treatments and eventually a cure for the disease.
ALS is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. When the motor neurons die the ability of the brain to initiate and control muscle movement is lost, which can lead to paralysis. We wanted to help raise further awareness of the charity by creating a Trollbeads bracelet and bangle, focusing on the icy colours that many of you are all too familiar with!
We have included glistening glass beads with shiny silver beads to create these icy bracelets and we have added our own little frosty setting too…

We chose the Trollbeads Water Lock for our arctic bracelet.
The ice accentuates the dark and light blues throughout the bracelet.
