It’s inescapable! Christmas is undoubtedly upon us, and as we all begin to tear about the place like headless chickens, panicking about what to buy for all our equally headless chicken friends and family, you’d be forgiven for thinking the world have broken down into chaos. Fortunately, here at Robert Gatward, we know all about Christmas, and we’re going to try and make it a little easier for you! Last time we outlined the first potential big hitter this holiday, the Tresor Paris bracelet; today we’re going to tell you all about what else we’re hoping Santa, or some unlikely fellow suspiciously claiming to be Santa, will bring us!
Next on the hit list then: Trollbeads. Incidentally, nothing to do with the incessantly famous internet meme, Trollbeads are filed neatly into the ‘charm’ based category of jewellery, which of course, instantly conjures images of unending opportunities to customize and colourize and create your own unique pieces; and of course, Trollbeads take the convention and add their own delicious slice of flair to it.
The company itself was founded in 1976, which by anyone’s standards is a long time ago. As such, they’re the longest running bead charm bracelet brand, and the beads themselves are, of course the star of the show. The very first range all depicted troll faces, the origins of the company name, and year on year since they have expanded further into little-known design territory. It wasn’t until 2000 that competitive imitators showed up on the scene, rocketing the popularity of the genuine article, and helping to push Trollbeads to be one of the most sought after styles of jewellery around, as they are today.
From metal, to glass, to freshwater pearls, the materials used in the beads contain an essence of individuality that gives them their unique overall visual. And of course, the truly unending swathe of designs available is simply uncountable, with many following the conventional, circular design, infused with unique colour and patterning, whilst many more branch out from the confines of the ‘bead’; a car, a chicken, a musical note, the list is endless, involves some beautiful, intricately detailed beads and allows for untold customization and personality to leap from your wrist, from your very own creation.
So why so big this Christmas? Well, aside from the fact that Christmas always calls for more jewellery, Trollbeads have recently released their utterly stunning and inventive Christmas range! From baubles to snowflakes, winter berries to Christmas roses; with brightly coloured red and white, green and yellow, holly and frankincense coloured beads, you can set your wrists to dazzle in the most festive manner possible.
The collection even includes a handful of limited edition beads, such as the Sweet Red Posy, or the distinguished Christmas Kiss design; so make sure you get in quick, don’t blink or you’ll miss ‘em, and who wouldn’t want a glorious, holiday-themed collection of beads for Christmas this year? A perfect addition to the never-ending collection. Sign us up Santa!
