Tudor Black Bay Bronze – Live from Baselworld 2016

The Tudor Black Bay Bronze is going to be delivered with two strap choices; distressed leather with a vintage appearance, or a fabric strap; both will have bronze buckles.

A close up of the sexy, distressed leather strap. This type of strap gives the watch a vintage, classic and timeless appearance.

A close up of the handsome dial. Equipped with the new rendition of the in-house MT5612 caliber it launched in the North Flag and the Pelagos last year. Calibre MT5601, it has all the same the elements of MT5612 minus a date window: 70-hour power reserve, silicon balance spring and chronometer certification.

Another close up: the vintage-looking distressed leather delivers to us a sense of nostalgia.

LIVE FROM BASELWORLD; the Tudor Black Bay Bronze features a subtle yet distinctive golden brown hue on the bezel.

On the dial, the Bronze breaks tradition from the first three references in that it gives us 3, 6 and 9 applied numerals instead of baton indexes. Showcasing a rich, chocolate brown dial and unidirectional rotating bezel which is highlighted by gold and beige accents.

With it’s 200m water resistance and luminescent hands and markers, this is the perfect divers watch that delivers sophistication without pretension. The movement inside is a variant of the Tudor manufactured movement developed exclusively to equip the new Tudor Black Bay Bronze timepiece.

Live from Baselworld; the Tudor Black Bay Bronze also sports a larger case size of 43mm in diameter (instead of the usual 41mm). Although 2mm in size may seem minute, a test on the wrist will help us to see if this increased size is in fact, more robust and masculine.
